Have you ever wondered how much it would cost to buy companies that are listed on the Nigerian stock market? Well, you can find out for yourself and also determine how much you would need to save to reach that simple goal-enterprise value
Enterprise value
A company’s enterprise value gives an accurate reflection of its total value. It takes into consideration items like:
- Equity value (how much belongs to all the shareholders of the company?)
- Debt value (how much belongs to all the creditors and lenders of the company?)
- Cash (money in the bank) and short-term investments of the company
- Minority interest (how much of the company belongs to non-controlling interests?) etc.
In this post, we present a list of Nigerian listed companies sorted by their enterprise values in descending order. Please see the full list of Nigerian stocks with their enterprise value:
You need to be aware that a key factor in calculating enterprise value is the stock price of the company. The stock price changes frequently, and so does the enterprise value. If you would like to stay up-to-date with the enterprise value figures, you can head over to the screener at the Investor Hangout data-hub and filter out companies by enterprise value.
